Shared use paths

Consider, shared use paths mean what? Exactly. A shared space to be used by pedestrians, bicyclists, skateboarders, skaters among others. Pedestrians, in the sense of those walking, often confuse themselves as “the” one with right-of-way. Not so. In all states, to my knowledge, all the aforementioned, when on a shared use path, are considered “pedestrians” and have equal right to the real estate. And when traveling on such a path, the walking pedestrian taking his or her half out of the middle, is in the wrong. All should keep to the right and make room for the rest of those “sharing” the lane.
