Right turn through bike box
Question: “I’m in Oregon and in a motor vehicle is stopped at a red light at a green box intersection. There are no bikes in the green box when I arrived. May I pull forward into the green area if there are no bikes and make a right turn on the red light if it is safe to do so?”
Answer: No. It is ILLEGAL to make a right turn on a red behind a bike box. When you see a green box intersection, or Bike Box, keep your eye out for the No right on red sign that always goes with it.
